I don't have a problem with people migrating to the US and UK for a better life. It's human nature. Indeed, a lot of westerners move to SE Asia for a better life, for example. It's not fair to target them.
The problem is that our economy needs workers. Yet those at the top are willing to sacrifice those workers (or outsource, or import cheap labour) and replace them with machines in order to make more profit. However, if companies don't keep up with technology/employment trends they'll lose the competition. So I don't blame them either.
Society needs to find ways to innnovate in order to stem the tide of the AI revolution. Returning to an economy centered around small businesses could be a way forward, but the big businesses will always win. There doesn't seem to be any systems in place to limit the size of corporations, and I don't get the impression they pay their fair share of tax, which would benefit the society they profit from.
