It is highly disappointing, but not in the least bit unusual to see how eager so many appear to be to BLAME THE VICTIM for an accident clearly caused by a corporation's oversight and negligence. Business as usual in the USA. (see my other posts for how the AI was deficient and why and how the company doing the monitoring was wantonly negligent and how the monitor was also wantonly negligent. THE VICTIM TOOK ALL NORMAL CARE AND CAUTION. She was caught totally by surprise AS ANY PEDESTRIAN WOULD HAVE BEEN by a car appearing to come out of nowhere because it was being driven by an AI that used LIDAR when the headlights were so low that NO HUMAN OPERATOR COULD HAVE DRIVEN IT IN THAT CONDITION.
