I was at a lorry driving course last week and even the trainer said that driving as a job is not going to be around for much longer but the long distance trucking jobs will go first. The final delivery wont be taken for a little longer but soon everything will be done by robot straight to the door which is safer overall so im sure we can find a way to employ truck drivers to maintain the automated trucks? Do the mechanical work fixing the truck then let the AI drive the truck, that way the driver is still working but now as a mechanic instead of driving
