As a kid, my parents used to subscribe to this mailing service where every month or so, an organisation made of only disabled artists who painted with their hands and feet, would send you cards with cover art painted by the artists. There were all sorts of different card themes, Christmas for December, New Year's for January, Hari Raya for April or May, all sorts of occasions. I remember looking at those cards in awe because they were genuinely gorgeous and my tiny kid brain could not fathom painting with my hands or feet, with that level of skill.
Really, I don't think these 'AI clankers' understand the levels artists would go through to make their art, and how the very existence of AI is akin to taking that conviction and urinating on it.
