I'm sure we'll see quite a few AI movies, if no other reason than that it is far easier to make. However, I think traditional animation will still win out. Just because you can make an AI movie doesn't mean that the audience will want to watch the whole thing. It still has an uncanny valley aspect that will make the audience uneasy, like the emotionless eyes and the perspective not being realistic like in the plane.
