The fake news surrounding AI is hard to ignore. We are in the midst of an economic crisis, and companies are exploiting the AI hype to justify job cuts. Hardly any company can use AI in such a way that it replaces humans. Remote-controlled robots and people in robot costumes are flooding social media and making people believe in something that is not real.
