This is inevitable. These jobs will go just like lamp lighters, elevator operators and carriage drivers. The goal isn't to keep specific jobs, but transition our society with kindness and humanity. Companies just dump workers with no accountability to treat people as humans that need an income to survive. We could move forward better if there were regulations that ensured training and transition for people put out of a job due to the evolution of society.
I wish I could remember, but I heard a story about automation transition in another country and the workers were all for it because they knew when they had to leave their job they would be able to transition to another job that they would be trained for.
