I have a tough time thinking some of the trades will move to AI. I recently converted my electric range to gas. I have gas already in the house but needed a gas line extended about 3'. I needed a plumber to do that and the township building inspector to inspect before I could use. I can't wrap my head around some AI robot moving around my basement and scrawl space and extending the gas line as needed. I supposed at some point but don't see it in my lifetime. The same is true for other plumbing issues. How a robot could be designed to fit into ANY space dynamically seems elusive to me.
