This is an issue in the writing space too. A lot of people are using AI generated content even thought its obvious that AI is incapable of unique ideas and often spits out inaccurate information. Its clear that its just spitting out the exact same information that was fed into it, without anything new added, and that was probably scraped from the web without the knowledge of the original creators. I doubt AI will dominate the space any time soon given its current limitations but if it does it will be a big financial blow to writers. Currently you can make 50 dollars on a 500 word article but if you're hired to produce and edit a 500 word article with an AI tool you'll be paid 6 dollars and for all you know your work was used to train the AI.
