For me the "accessibility" concepts holds true to an extent. I'm a writer, and most of my work is done as audio dramas which I post on YouTube. I use AI Gen to create backgrounds as visual aid for people who need a little more help creating the scenes I'm describing in their heads. Yes i could spend hundreds of hours and years of my life learning how to oil paint, or hundreds if not thousands of dollars commissioning or licensing artists, but at the end of the day my art is my writing and I intentionally do not monetize that art in anyway because that's not what it is about. I know this is a fringe case, but AI has tremendously helped my own creative expression even though it's just a supplemental part of my storytelling. If my writing ever did become profitable in some way i would love to commission actual and original art, but until then AI has provided a way to add visual dynamic to what i create which would otherwise be impossible at this point. This obviously is not a wholesale endorsement of AI and all it's applications, i do believe that it has been, can be and will most like continue to be harmful to the art community, but in my opinion it does still create a way for creative expression for people who aren't able to commission or create this type of art on their own.
