As someone with friends in the tech industry, I don't like how they use the term "AI artist". My friend puts thought, work, and effort into DEVELOPING machine learning models. HE is an AI artist, he creates AI. just how I am a graphical artist and a musical artists because I create graphics and music.
I don't really like what AI models have done to our culture, but I do think we should be giving respect to the intelligent people putting their thought and skills into CREATING AI models, especially the ones that are beneficial like medical uses.
THOSE people are the "AI artists". These people are just AI users, what these people do is no different in my mind to someone listening to one of my songs, but then showing it to someone and claiming they made it, just cause they had to type in search terms to find it.
