AI companies calling artists protecting their art _"abuse"_ is incredible. If they're trying to use art that has these effects on it that's their problem because clearly that artist does not want their art to be used.
AI training data is not at all like how humans learn from other artists. For starters, humans are sentient beings who live lives and their art is informed by those experiences not solely the work of other artists.
If humans learned art solely from the art of others art would never have been able to start, like how AI would not be able to create art if it had not been trained on the work of humans.
That is so obvious to me, and seems to be painfully missed by _"AI artists"._ That just goes to show they do not understand the first thing about art.
