Programmers will be the last job to be replaced. You'll still need programmers to develop AI to replace certain jobs and implement them in different types of robotics. We already have radiology doctors being replaced by AI. Nobody is safe from AI except the people who are developing AI which are programmers. I'm getting my masters in AI and Machine Learning after I finish my bachelors in CS. All jobs including engineers are going to to get replaced by AI before programmers.
