What concerns me (alongside the massive rise in unemployment that this will produce) is the very real possibility that state, and perhaps even federal, legislation will end up favouring companies like Aurora when there are accidents. All it would take are a few creative uses of language in the law and suddenly a few hundred accidents a year across the US becomes 'within the margin of error'.
Then of course there's the inevitable human-robot war to worry about, but we might have to cross that bridge when we come to it.
