It was all great from 2023 to early 2025, for me at least. I tripled my productivity and I was able to deliver sophisticated work, way above my paygrade and way above what I thought I could ever do. Today, I'm no longer needed because the AI can do everything I was brilliant at, at a fraction of the cost.
To me, as someone who went through the entire grind culture era, sacrified my youth for the corporations I worked at, and did everything by the book, it all looks like a sort of new-day bolshevik revolution, where the proletariat is empowered at the cost of getting rid of the intellectuals that were creating and designing their jobs. It will be a bloodbath soon enough when they realise that the farmer was the one who was giving them food that allowed them to be "free".
