There's absolutely no way in our greedy capitalist society that the billionaires will provide a livable income to people when AI takes their jobs. Our entire society is built upon consumerism and when enough people don't have jobs, nothing gets bought, and the whole machine stops. I can't believe they ever let citizens united pass. Greed will be the downfall and the irony is that if they were just satisfied with the already outrageous level of income inequality from a couple years ago, we would likely be fine, but it just wasn't enough for them... We should be providing financial incentives to companies who employ human workers with a livable wage, stopping the expansion of huge conglomerate companies and preventing the privatization of public necessities. But the gov't now only listens to whomever is giving them the most money, which thanks to citizens united and shady scratch-my-back deals, is multi-millionaires and billionaires. It's insane to think these people ruining what was such a great country, wake up and look themselves in the mirror.
