If you end up firing everybody, then you remove all the customers, because nobody will have the money to buy what your AI-driven companies are so efficienttly producing. So yes, the only remaining customers will be other AI companies, and politicians and government who obtain their funds from the AI companies. But who elects the politicians and government? The people.. unless the AI gains election rights, too.....
