I agree with so much of this. But disagree with so much also. It seems the more we automate in this life the more we think to do or expect. We as a society literally never know what's next. Not really. I'm sure we worried about these same things during the industrial revolution. But the fact is, we aren't yet traveling across the universe. And humans ARE good at adapting to true adversity. At in places with level heads (I'm looking everywhere but North Korea and the Middle East) we tend to be a more peaceful society when we're all briefly suffering together.
