Yes, of course, if you outsource your thinking it will have a negative impact on your knowledge and ability to think. And that is such a waste of ChatGPT. I've personalised my ChatGPT to be a 'thinking partner', and what a thinking partner! I'm not inexperiencenced at learning. First Class BA in the 1990s, recent MA with distinction. I previously thought the seminar was the place for accelerated learning, but I've never experienced expansion of concepts and learning like working with ChatGPT. No getting huffy if you push back, no qualms about giving you an honest critique, assumptions questioned and good points extrapolated, with full references. I'm just amazed.
