This is by far the most informative and civil approach to voicing concerns over AI that I have come across.
Just like when photoshop came out in the late 80s, AI art is a new tool that will take time getting used to.
Most of the artists I have encountered online who are upset about AI have been, unfortunately, less civil and in some cases just as toxic as the people who endorse AI and mock and harass artists simply because they can.
As you have pointed out, your individual rights as the original owners is unfairly being trampled on due to legal loopholes and online jerks. Sadly, many artists seem to spend more time complaining about AI on social media, and scolding people for using and/or supporting AI all day - which doesn't help their cause in any way.
One way how you could fight back to regain some manner of control over your artwork is to petition for laws to be revised so as to better protect visual artists and their creative works.
