Everyone's hyped about AI, and it's certainly having a huge impact on writers, translators, etc., but thinking much longer term one can't help wondering about the obstacles below:
⚡ Power limits even with next generation nuclear plants, fusion, etc.
🧱 Natural resources are limited, e.g. peak oil reached in many parts of the world (unless AI supports a better distribution of natural resources)
🛑 New heavy regulations are being designed, especially in Europe... especially keeping in mind horrible uses of AI related to AI-powered weapons, hacking, fake online posts, etc etc...
