Very smart critique, very true! This could slow regulation, but minimally and slow stuff to prevent overregulation later.
AI economy potential not done should be worried about because there are many real world worries o think about but people seem to overfocus on out there Ai scare. The only relly significant problem in that direction (there are others but not as analogous) is a misaligned ai/ machine lerning only focusing on 1 goal or goals that dont have all the stakeholders at least minimally in lind so hurting or indirectly harming or gaslighting or influencing those (for example youtube Users) would be a strategy that the AI / machine lerning algorythm would not also consider and be free to do should positive means not be more effective, it being the case that destroying seems often easyer than building that definitly seems something to check / Monitor for in studys. Or trying to manipulate rats by algorythms or o see what is possible to open peoples minds to it.
Generally really correct that the economy could us the boost a lot and it is way overdue it was not done for century’s eventho being around even now investment is kinda lazy contrary to the hype.
