I'm an artist. I don't get the same sense of satisfaction that I do the way I finish my art compared to when I use AI generated images for some quick character roleplay. Image generation is instant and that's it. There's no thought behind an artpiece and it's just... Empty. Rather than putting my whole thought and effort towards a character per se (little details such as a cowboy wearing a little flower on his cowboy hat because it was the last item from a loved one), watching an image generator generating the image is as interesting as watching wall paint dry.
