The developments in A.I. make me think of that saying that goes along the lines of, "If God didn't exist, it would be necessary to create it.' Perhaps ChatGPT is our response to living in a godless and meaningless universe. Perhaps the A.I won't wipe us out, but free us from meaningless labour and help us find meaning in life.
