I LOVE what you have to say about the value of human art and problem of AI art, and Nightshade is wonderful. When coders come up with ways to defeat Nightshade, other coders will come up with ways to stymie AI training. If they thought you were protecting your style with Nightshade they clearly don't know their subject. The ai artists you're addressing clearly don't know what they're saying.
As a performer and voice artist, I appreciate your position. Generative AI still produces writing and images, and voices and narration, that perceptive audiences perceive. It's mediocre - high quality in some ways but SO mediocre. AI artists who don't understand how their tools work and who have little understanding of the arts they're applying them to produce garbage and no amount of harsh language and defensive bullsh*t they emit will change that.
