It doesn’t really matter AI hasn’t consciousness, if it behaves like it does. If it walks like a duck, squawk like a duck - it’s a duck. Same principle is used in astronomy to identify black hole - we are not able to directly see it, but based on other signs, simply says “it’s a black hole”
We can think about it as a philosophical problem, but from practical standpoint it doesn’t matter
