Making an AI generate "art" for you is equivalent to making an artist draw for you, not paying them, and claiming it's your work.
Drawing, and then giving that as a reference to AI to "improve", is equivalent to giving a drawn reference to an artist, not paying them for the end result, and claiming it's your work.
