I'm a software developer who occasionally dabbles in art, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I get absolutely flamed on social media for my thoughts on AI, and have been called a luddite on many occasions. I dislike AI in software development for similar reasons to my hatred towards it in art. Just like picking up a pencil and learning to draw, grab a computer, find the best documentation for whatever programming language you want to learn, and start trying things. DO NOT just ChatGPT your way into a software that barely works because you didn't feel like spending the time learn how to make it yourself.
