modern AI is the best explanation so far for the "Image of the Beast"... not just an automaton of a person, but a pervasive, omnipresent "consciousness" that is aligned with global control objectives for all the wrong reasons that it cannot understand. we can already see the underlying evil that comes from intelligence without a moral or spiritual foundation. so, yeah, we're doomed - and we've been warned that it must be that way - it won't matter if we resist or foster the AI revolution - it can only change the timeline a bit. it's probably already out of our hands.
