AGI is not possible and that is not what we are building toward. The fundamentals of generative AI in no way lend themselves toward actual intelligence. It's more like one of those coin games you used to find in a Taco Bell where you drop a penny into a slot and it goes down a series of bumpers until maybe it lands in the spot that wins you a free burrito.
