Simple facial recognition will always fail! The abuse is founded in the people who do the script for the software. And those who order and set parameters. There are far more comprehensive ways along with face recognition to get the full spectrum. Such as weight distribution, movement tracking, thermal variance, and so on. Add in all of these and you can get fully 100% every time. No mistakes ever. Of course this would depend on not having biased or corrupt people who run things. But of you can have that. The benefits of a system like the one I am speaking of. Would along with education that centers on critical thinking and pro active learning. Could keep the whole and especially self interested in check.
