My hope is that Ai's abilities are drastically overbloan. It's already a reliable fact that Ai is not getting any "smarter". It's basically already hit the theoretical mathematical wall of complexity. It's being refined to work out kinks and mistakes, but it's so unreliable that McDonalds scraped all the millions they invested in AI ordering machines. That means that McDonalds was not confident that AI could progress to the point of successfully reducing mistakes in taking orders to even be at a human level.
And if Ai can't actually progress beyond that, then that should apply to most industries. Sure journalism is going to remain AI dominated, and graphic arts production will be AI dominated too. No one cares about factual journalism anyways, but when it comes to industries that *must* be correct or fail, AI seems to have already hit a wall that can't be overcome by just throwing more processing power at it.
