Or, maybe AI is just not suitable for how it is being used, no matter how it is programmed, because it's just going to use raw statistics.
If the statistics of an area point to black people committing the majority of crime, the AI is not going to care why.
It's not going to give the benefit of the doubt.
It's not going to acknowledge the lack of criminal record.
There are AI or 'learning algorithms' supposedly meant to pick up on hate speech, but they flag lyrics for fuck sake.
They don't understand nuance.
