Gen AI has been around for nearly 7 years and it is still not commercially viable for asset production. There's yet to be a success story in any art sector regarding it's use and it also cannot be used for simple things like turnarounds, 3d asset development or really any major pipeline work. If it was such a promising technology it wouldn't take this long nor would it be as limited in use as it is. I've seen maybe 2 commercials ever use genAI and in both instances there was backlash and stock fallout as the repercussion. The only thing inevitable is the seeming failure of these tools.
