No offense but artists are holding back technological progress the same way religion used to hold back science. Why does it matter that those AI generators were trained on datasets filled with "copyrighted images"? How is this any different from human artists learning how to draw by referencing other "copyrighted" works? Why is it bad when a machine does it?
