How many AI are going to turn racist before we realize there might actually be a reason?
IBM's super computing AI accidentally got connected to the unfiltered internet and turned racist and they had to roll it back. HMMMM. I wonder why a thing we created to be many thousands of times more intelligent than us would suddenly turn racist for literally no reason? UNLESS...There IS a reason.
I'm not smart enough to tell you why these AI's are turning racist, but I am smart enough to recognize patterns, as well as smart enough to see certain factors in real life as to why PEOPLE would still hold some racist values on other races, let alone a COMPUTER which doesn't make judgements based on morality.
AI aren't concerned with not offending other AI or people. AI tell it how it is. And there is OBVIOUSLY a problem with "how it is".
So, I ask these questions with the intent of actual critical thought, not impulsive judgement; "Why exactly are all these AI, who see humanity completely unfiltered, turning racist? What are black people or women doing that an ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE doesn't approve of, compared to white men?"
