Knowledge is not the same thing as being sentient. The AI (program) may know what it is, know that it is not human and have all sorts of other knowledge, but it is not sentient, even if it can interact with you in a way that makes it feel sentient, even if it tries to convince you it is sentient... it is not the same as being actually sentient.
