I have 20+ years of experience in systems development. I'd like to add to your stats of how one's time is invested, that I feel like something like half or even most of the time I am researching and coming up with answers about the code base. Something like "how is feature X implemented and how doe sit work in Y case". Those answers are then used for taking decisions about how to go forward or answering customer's support requests. I wonder whether this part of the job is one that AI could automate in the near future in a reliable way.
