I think a lot of ai oversteps boundaries that should not be crossed however I think there are some acceptable scenarios to use them. For example I as someone with unfortunately 0 artistic skill and a financial situation that doesn't leave room for commissioning work have used ai for stuff like dnd characters (never for profit and am always upfront about it being AI) but I never have names in the prompt, just a large list of details and properties for the desired results (hair length color etc for characters) that said an artist friend of mine was very nice as to take a chicken scratch of a map I made and put their skills to it and it looks amazing and I saved up to compensate them even though they did it for fun. The point im trying to make is while I see value in ai for those who lack the skill or money to make an idea visible I also firmly believe that any art the ai uses to do it should be exclusively done at the consent and complete compensation of the artist they get them from
