When I hear people express fear that they will not be able to compete with AI and robots, and that we should legislate to protect jobs, it occurs to me that what they are advocating is actually unlawful law and illegitimate. Nobody has the lawful right to dictate what roles Ai and technology can perform or what I choose to apply it towards in my own personal decisions. I get that people are fearful of not having disproportionate value compared to others, but that's the reality and they need to deal with it, not dictate to others. The reality is, technology has always disrupted the value proposition of individuals and the roles they profit from.
