I think AI is just a way for them try to come up with a neural network that a human consciousness can be transferred into because they want to live forever and they see themselves as the center of the universe who absolutely needs to keep on living. It’s just the tech bro version of longevity science. They don’t care about anyone but themselves. Rich people ego will always let them destroy most of the world as long as they benefit.
