The problem, though, is that even though human artists and programmers and so on aren't going anywhere, this is still being used to depress wages. People are finding all sorts of nooks and crannies to shove in AI, wherever it's possible to reduce quality without causing a total collapse.
GenAI has been good for absolutely no one except for the lowest rung of capitalism. It's been great for spammers, scammers and the mass content mill.
