I mean... yes there will be a time when machines will be able to do most jobs people do and money will no longer be necessary to live healthy, safe, and secure lives. But we are in no way ready for that. And the transition period will be painful but it would have to be overseen by many independent parties to make sure the economy doesn't fail before we are ready, or insert something akin to an order 66 in the machines.
And I still don't know if economics will ever allow such a transition. It might be that once the numbers have been run that we would run out of resources before that ever happens, or that after resources have been automated and suddenly run out that we've put ourselves into a corner.
