I'm not sure if you will read this Cleo, However ther is another issue with AI art that I feel will keep artists in jobs. I think it will be tough to gain copyright to Ai generated text or imagry. If you don't own the copyright to an original work, then you can't do as much with it. I think this is the real downside to AI art that will prevent it from taking over in industry. It will make custom work more accessable to everyone, sure. But in business you need copyright or you have nothing. You also need more control over the process than you get with current modes of AI generated art. So for many reasons I think that there is a lot of overreaction, but it is certanly something to keep an eye on.
From the perspective of a working artist/ creative. digital media is and always has been mesy, but there will always be ways to make things work.
