I make AI art for my DnD campaign using Novel AI. I started posting my game's characters on Pixiv for fun. Literally have in my bio that I'm not an artist and will never claim to be one. All you have to do is know the proper prompts to get what you want out of NAI. Even easier when you're using a character NAI knows as a base reference. I'm typing words and NAI makes an image based off them. Making little tweaks to the prompt is the most intensive thing I have to do. That doesn't make me an artist. At the end of the day, NAI is perfect for someone like me with -8 artistic talent, but if I had an unholy sum of money, I'd be bankrolling actual artists to make my characters exactly how I want them. Until AI can 1 for 1 an image from my head onto the screen, a real artist will always be better. Like. I'm basically on his team because I use NAI, and I'm offended he calls himself an artist. Shit is cringe.
