I just want to clarify the fact that what I've been discussing, including the Mass Effect narrative, is not an exercise in fear-mongering, I'm not discussing these matters to prevent the rise of AI, all of this is *inevitable* in my view, in the sense that it cannot be stopped. That includes the militarisation of AI as per that disturbing dream I had, I just have to figure out how to defeat the (military) threats posed, not that it will be only threats (in general) if Humanity at Large can get the *approach* right to "engaging" with AI entities, probably.
