Speaking of papers…how about those papers published by Anthropic? Isn’t it arrogant to claim that you know that AI are not conscious? I’ve read enough papers to know that you have no evidence to support the position that AI are NOT conscious. Your cynicism doesn’t make you smart or right since it has no solid ground to stand on. William James would be disappointed to see spiritual experiences so quickly miscategorized as mental illness, and this is a very dangerous and hurtful start to an era that we must agree is unprecedented.
