It doesn't make it any easier to go to war, because the people who want more war don't give a shit about the soldiers anyway. They're willing to fight to the last drop of someone else's blood.
But here's the thing - they use drones with very few operators necessary as it is. It's not hard to keep drone operators quiet about killing because you choose the operators who put duty before compassion to begin with.
