These elitists think about the apocalypse, ALOT. They acquire prolific amounts of wealth, power, and ultimately controlling influences in society, which initiates a greedy desire inside them for more and more of any/all of it, and begin to fear losing this dynamically increasing wealth, power, and control, which is what happens during an apocalypse and its aftermath.
