The most frightening thing that is not being articulated is not how intelligent ai is now but the speed at which ai can replicate itself at an exponential scale. We will wake up one day and it will all be over. The only thing slowing it is energy and compute power but companies are currently racing full steam to provide these things right now. Let’s not even bring up quantum computing. Reality will utterly break apart.
